2003 - O'Neill Team rocks the Nationals
Wednesday, 08 October 2003

O'Neill came away with three titles at the British Nationals this weekend when O'Neill riders won the Men's, Women's and Under 12's events.

Sam Lamiroy took his title as British Champion, winning the 1,000 prize purse. The points gained from this tournament will go towards his British Team entry for the European Championships.

Robyn Davies retained her title as the Best British Female Surfer in history, taking on three competitors in the final who, although British, originated from Australia and South Africa. Robyn challenged them successfully and took the title once more. Robyn said, "The surf was pretty poor so I wasn't sure if luck would be on my side to beat such stiff competition I'm stoked to hold on to my title for another year."

Newly signed Stuart Campbell stunned crowds as he won the under 12's title adding it to the English title which he has already won this year.

All three of the winners will soon head up to the North East of England for the O'Neill British Cup 2003 which will be held at Tynemouth Long Sands on 18th & 19th October, perhaps to obtain yet more British titles.
