Diggerland in Strood, Kent will be offering snow skiing and boarding, complete with rentals and tuition, this winter.

The theme park, where the theme is mechanical diggers, has an agreement with American firm SnowMagic, who run Tenney ski area in New Hampshire, to operate The Snow Park from December to March. The Japanese built technology can create 100 tonnes of snow per day.

The facility will include a snow play area for building snowmen etc and will offer tubing as well as ski and board tuition plus open sessions. Helmets will be provided for all children taking lessons.
