Les Menuires in the French Three Valleys will replace the Grand Lac drag lift and two other drag lifts that follow it with a new six seater chairlift running from the resort to the top of the Roc des 3 Marches this winter.

The new lift is part of a program that has seen four new chairs and a gondola replace a dozen old rope tows in the past four years. The aim of the program is to make more efficient and attractive use of the giant snow fields between Les Menuires and Saint Martin with fewer, faster lifts able to carry more skiers and boarders than the old lifts they replace.
