Daily Mail London Ski and Snowboard Show, Earlier, Shorter and Bigger
Friday, 09 July 2004

The Daily Mails famous Ski and Snowboard show, which attracts over 50,000 guests each year making it possibly the worlds biggest ski show, is to be staged earlier in the pre-season with its duration cut by half, this October.

The show traditionally runs over ten days, taking in two weekends and continues in to early November. This year it will be staged from the 13th to 17th October.

The Show will also move to a new venue within Olympia the Grand Hall meaning it will b on single level for the first time in many years.

The shorter show duration is likely to be popular with many exhibitors, particularly those from smaller businesses who like to have a presence at the show but find it hard to staff a stand over long hours for 10 consecutive days. A familiar comment I that whilst the old format show was always busy at weekends and mot evenings, it was typically quiet during the daytime, Monday to Friday.

Apart from increased stand space, the Grand Hall will feature snow slopes for teaching and gear testing, Big Air entertainment arena, ice rink, urban slope and a live music venue.
