Anssi Manninen's Elan factory tour
Saturday, 03 November 2007

Who cares what’s in the board as long as it rides just the way you want?
That’s what I was thinking for a long time until I started getting interested in the whole “board construction” thing.
So I was quite happy to watch this new video from Elan - you know the boards that are made in the Alps.
Follow Anssi Manninen, Elan snowboards international team rider, as he takes you on a tour of the Elan factory and shows what it takes to build a good snowboard.
In the past years, Elan has introduced a lot of incredible technical innovations in the construction of snowboards, most relevant of all being the Omega sidecut technology.
Their know-how and the quality of the production plant is known all over the world. No wonder almost 20% of the boards available on the market are coming out of the Elan factory, in the heart of the Alps!

You need to a flashplayer enabled browser to view this YouTube video

S0 now that you know everything about building a board, check how the Elan team rides them!
