What’s more interesting is how Mervin continue to step up their use of technology: Magne traction, the banana tech…. you know how it is with Mervin. They continue to reinvent and redefine their stellar line of boards. I think everybody should ride a board from Mervin manufacturing for a minimum of one season. These decks give you a sense of how boards should come straight from the factory and not toned down for the masses.
While Mervin’s companies have built an image by not having an image it simply hasn’t stopped progression in the factory. Maybe it’s because the guys building the boards all have a passion for surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding … I don’t know. I do know the deck promise good things and don’t be surprised to see these among top reviews in your 2009 buyers guide.
