Cheap flights to Geneva a boost for snow lovers PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 05 December 2007
We are having a lucky year so far, firstly with the Alpine snow coming early and now with the introduction of new cheap flights to Geneva.

SWISS, Swiss International Air Lines, has introduced a £99 return fare for flights between Manchester and Geneva this week.

The tariff includes all taxes and extra costs, including handling of skis and snowboard equipment, with the offer beginning on December 16 and ending in March 2008.

Geneva is the capital of French-speaking Switzerland, and is the main airport for resorts in both Switzerland and France, including Chatel, Avoriaz, Chamonix, Villars and Verbier.

Moreover, the city is a popular destination for winter breaks, situated on the shore of Lake Geneva and hosting a major Christmas tree festival.

SWISS operates 30 flights daily from the UK and Ireland to destinations in Switzerland, including Basel and Zurich as well as Geneva.

The airline is part of the Lufthansa group.
