Interesting EXPN.com article brought to my attention by Adam at HighlyObsessed.com. the EXPN article makes reference to the changes in format to next
week’s X-Games. basically the Women’s Superpipe competition is dropping the finalists
field from 10 down to 6 and raises the question of whether this marginalizes women in the sport?
insiders at the X-Games argue that the limited field will
push women to be better riders to get into one of the 6 available finals
spots
Just because you don't see Grete Eliasson and Sarah Burke win their medals in primetime doesn't make them count any less ... does it?
