All the big names in the snowboarding industry were at Les 2 Alpes on the weekend of 27 to 29 October for the traditional season curtain raiser - the 18th Mondial du Snowboard

3656140192.jpg For this years event all the necessary conditions came together except one: snow. Hence the glacier was not at its best. However, in spite of that, the shapers once again delivered a very high-quality snow park and the whole team of Les 2 Alpes deserve to be congratulated.

So many talented riders had plenty to inspire them, as while the younger competitors took part in an amateur contest organised by Burton, the rest were able to test, free of charge, the new range of equipment that the snowboard brands had on display.

As is the case every year, in exchange for a test card, people could test all the new boards, bindings, boots, masks, and clothing of the brands exhibited on the glacier which is 3,200m in altitude.
