Olympic snowboarding hopeful Danny Davis broke a bone in his lower
back during an accident on Sunday, ending his
season and sending another shockwave through the United States halfpipe
community. Danny, 21, is expected to recover, but not in time for the Vancouver Olympics. Danny Davis is friends with Kevin
Pearce, who sustained a traumatic brain injury Dec. 31 while training
in the halfpipe at Utah’s Park City Mountain Resort
