Crested Butte Offers Posters Instead of Postcards |
Wednesday, 18 February 2004 |
Crested Butte ski resort in Colorado has announced the launch of a new internet service called Postergrams. Now, on-line visitors to www.skicb.com can create and send high quality, full color, 12" X 18" personalized posters as an alternative to the traditional post card. The poster photography was shot by award winning Crested Butte photographer, Tom Stillo. By choosing from a selection of six resort images, users can create a custom message through a user-friendly web interface and order a custom printed poster to be shipped by first class mail in a protective tube. The entire process takes just a few minutes and is completed with an online credit card payment. The service is $12.95 for the first poster (approx 7 UK) and $6.95 (approx 3 UK) each for additional orders. Crested Butte is the first resort in North America to adopt the technology that is available exclusively through its development partner, Postergrams.com of Manchester, New Hampshire.
