Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) |

Mountain Creek in Vernon, N.J., will host a Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) Board-A-Thon on Saturday, Feb. 19. The day will include a B4BC educational area to teach young women the importance of early breast cancer detection and the value of a healthy lifestyle; OP Girls Learn to Ride snowboarding clinics; an on-line fundraising drive; and nighttime activities. Only eight ski resorts in the United States are hosting a complete B4BC Board-a-Thon event. Bristol Mountain is the only one in New York State. It will be held Friday, March 4. In addition, Bristol will hold a halfpipe and park jam on Saturday, March 5. Bristol Mountain organizers hope to raise $50,000 from the event. A portion of the money will go to The Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester.
