Snowboarders shred mountain in spectacular show |

The strathspeyherald reports that more than 25 competitors from across the UK entered the over-18, youth,
junior and girls' categories in the first weekend of the Vans' 'Dawn of the
Shred II' snowboarding event at Cairn Gorm.
Bad weather delayed the start of the event until Sunday, when, with a
£500 cash prize and lots of Vans' goodies up for grabs, the competition kicked of.
