London Ski Show changes dates, shortens
Tuesday, 02 March 2004

Although still to be officially confirmed by owners DMG, a spokesman confirmed that it is "95% sure" that the UK's largest consumer show - The Daily Mail Ski and Snowboard Show - will be changing dates and length this year.
The Show, which has previously been held over ten days at London Olympia during the last two weeks of October, will this year be reducing in length to five days and will be held from 13-17 October, two full weeks earlier.

It is understood that the change is the result of continued lobbying from within the industry that the Show was too long at ten days, with many of the midweek days attracting relatively low numbers of visitors.

Late closing means more socialising!
The location will still be at Olympia, but will move to the Great Hall, which is larger in size. It is believed that the venue will also remain open later each evening.

That will leave even more time for socialising, so watch out for more details on this and all the other details of the Show coming to Natives microsite in due course. The Natives charity Ski Show Workers Party will be held on Saturday 16 October, with Superfly currently booked to top the bill.
