Crystal Add Two Countries, Ten Resorts, Three Months for 04-05

Britain's leading ski tour operator Crystal have launched their main 2004-5 season brichure and announced that Sweden and Finland will be included this season. New resorts choices from the company are revitalised Copper Mountain and Telluride in Colorado, USA; Ischgl and Galt�r in Austria; Quebec City in Canada; Isola 2000 and Le Grand Bornand in France; Aosta in Italy and two new tours with Crystal Active - the Arctic Activity Tour to Finland and the Arctic Ice Hotel Adventure to Sweden.

In total Crystal will feature no fewer than 141 resorts in 13 countries: the largest ski programme in the UK.

Besides its existing summer ski choices in South America, Crystal is extending the choice of pre and late season options, with ski holidays offered to snowsure glacier destinations in October and November this year and May next. The seven night choices are Cervinia, Les Deux Alpes, Tignes, Saas Fee, Zermatt, Kaprun and Whistler.


Crystal is also adding eight new flights to get skiers and boarders to their existing and new destinations. Four routes for French resorts from Newcastle and Teesside to Lyons and Norwich (new airport for Crystal Ski) and Birmingham to Chambery. For Austria and Slovenia there's a Belfast City to Salzburg service. Crystal have also added Manchester to Plovdiv to feed the fast-growing Bulgarian market and Gatwick to Sion for Swiss resorts. The route from Birmingham to Fagernes in Norway is also new in the programme. Crystal already flies from 20 airports to over 40 destinations. Its ski resorts include all the main alpine destinations plus North and South America.

Gareth Crump, Crystal's Product Director said: "Crystal already offers the largest choice of ski holidays, but we are determined to keep improving our range of holidays for all types of skiers. At one level this has led to us to provide better childcare than ever, including our unique six-day childcare service. And at another, the launching of an exciting range of mountain activity holidays to cater for our loyal and increasingly adventurous holidaymakers.

Also new for 2004/5 are two new Cub Hotels: Club Hotel Le Morgan in Risoul, France and the Club Hotel Hofer in Kitzb�hel, Austria. There are two new 'Ski & See' cities: Aosta in Italy and Quebec City in Canada where Crystal guests can ski the surrounding ski areas, combining a ski and a city break. Crystal has also expanded its popular 'Fasttrax' flexible short break programme extending it to 24 resorts in Europe including the 'Ski & See' packages in the city of Salzburg and Aosta.
