Tignes in France is offering a new kind of adrenaline rush this summer for skiers and boarders. After a morning on the glacier why not try Hot-Jumping on Lake Tignes?

The idea is simple, a fast slide in to the lake which catapults sliders into the air before landing in the water. More advanced users descend on skis, snowboard, roller blades or skateboard down the water jump, with its plastic ramp for sliders.
