Sims Signs Chris Dufficy
Monday, 05 January 2004

Sims snowboards is pleased to announce that Chris Dufficy is now riding for the Sims team. Chris stated "Being able to work with people and riders that I've respected for a long time makes me feel like I'm moving on to something very special. It gives me the room and confidence to do what I want, with the backing that I need. I know that the team we have is going to bring the level of riding to a higher standard within and outside of the snowboard industry. It's basically what a snowboard company should be right down to the basics. Friendship and business is separated when it needs to be and that's what makes a solid company. I am excited be part of the Sims program".

Duff has been a strong presence in snowboarding for many years and is known for his smooth style, insane cliff drops and monster rails skills. "Duff comes from one of the most talented snowboard teams ever and he brings a huge international presence to our team. He has one of the best personalities and is just one of the riders we are adding to the 2004-2005 program" says Sims Director of Marketing Travis Wood. Duff will also be endorsing the new Protocol series along newly acquired John Jackson and Iikka Backstrom. Chris lives in Vancouver BC and plans to film for the new Wild Cats movie for the 2004 season along side his best friend Devun Walsh.
