The Salomon Freestyle Jam Session marks the beginning of the summer season on the glacier at Tignes. The event, on 1st July, starts at 8.30am in the snow park.

There's be three highlights during the day. Firstly, all morning riders will be competing in front of a jury. Then competitors and spectators together will travel down from the 3556m glacier to 2100m where they will gather around a m�choui (lamb on a spit) for a filling lunch at 1pm.

After the lamb lunch in the skate park, this will remain the cool zone for the afternoon, with a DJ of course, then, at 3pm the sickest jumps will be rewarded with all sorts of Salomon gear.

Finally, Tignespace will be the place to be with Dorothy Sanchez performing with a big rock sound guaranteed from 9pm. Dorothy Sanchez has performed at more than 30 gigs all over Europe and in the States.

The Salomon Jam Session is the first "Freestyle" Event of the summer season on the glacier. Everyone is welcome to join the Salomon Pro Team for a free session in the park. For an entry of only �3 its possible to try out all the hits on the Grande Motte with everybody watching. Remember, falling is fun!
