Australian ski resort Mount Hotham is celebrating one of the best seasons of the past decade by offering five nights accommodation and ski packages for the price of four.

Collectively branded as the Mid-Winter Madness Sale, Mount Hotham has come up with a variety of all-inclusive packages, from mid-range accommodation right through to top end fully self-catered apartments. Savings of 20% on most properties mean that costs per person are significantly reduced.

A five night stay at a super deluxe Dinner Plain three bedroom house, for example, is $699 per person -including a five day unlimited lift pass and five two hour group lessons (based on a 10 share arrangement).

Alternatively, you can stay in the heart of Hotham's village (the highest alpine village in Australia) at Lawlers Apartments for just $772 per person (based on a 10 share arrangement). Staying in a three bedroom apartment with your own spa and sauna, Lawlers offers spectacular views and spacious relaxation. Again the price includes 5 days of skiing and boarding and five two hour group lessons.
