ZOË Gillings continued her tremendous form with a seventh place finish in the latest round of the FIS Snowboardcross World Cup at Lake Placid, New York on Sunday.
Fresh from her runner-up spot in Japan the week before, the Manx athlete kept her hopes of a top-three overall finish alive with the latest in a series of top-10 finishes to maintain pressure on her rivals.
Gillings went into the event in fourth position overall and was looking to build on her recent good form and clinch another podium finish. This was not to be, but the British number one still performed well after suffering some setbacks in the preliminary races.
